THE BEGINNING
Davide received his first piano lesson at the age of four. At thirteen and fourteen he won the national C.E.M. competition for two consecutive years.
In 2012 he graduated in piano from the L. Campiani Conservatory in Mantua.

Davide Locatelli was born on 22 August 1992 into a musical family and began studying piano at the age of four with his father “Tati”, former drummer of Dalton and music teacher.
Music quickly became more than a discipline. It became the starting point for a career combining classical training, original music, rock influences, visual performance and international live events.
Over the years Davide has performed on television, major stages and fashion events, worked with international brands and developed shows in which the piano becomes part of a wider visual experience.
Davide received his first piano lesson at the age of four. At thirteen and fourteen he won the national C.E.M. competition for two consecutive years.
In 2012 he graduated in piano from the L. Campiani Conservatory in Mantua.
In 2011 he released “Tunnel”, his first album of original music. Three years later came “Fly Away”.
During 2013 and 2014 he toured the United States, performing in venues including the Blue Note in New York and Don’t Tell Mama.
In 2014 he was among the finalists of Sanremo Giovani, while in 2015 his appearance on Tu sì que vales brought his performance to a much wider audience.
In 2016 he released “La vie en… rock”, a piano reinterpretation of songs that shaped rock history. The following year he performed with Gabry Ponte at the Wind Music Awards, live from the Verona Arena.
In April 2018 Davide signed his first contract with Sony Music.
His piano interpretation of “Pirates of the Caribbean” rapidly reached one million views on YouTube, followed by “Numb”, released in honour of Chester Bennington.
In 2019 “Sugar Land” entered major Spotify playlists and surpassed one million streams on the platform.
In 2020 Davide appeared as a regular judge on All Together Now on Canale 5.
The same year marked the beginning of his ongoing collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana, performing for the brand’s Alta Moda events and becoming part of a series of international fashion projects.
In 2021 he released his fourth album, “This Is Dave”, which reached third place in Amazon’s general ranking.
That year he also rewrote and performed the A.C. Milan anthem with Mazay, presented at San Siro, and performed for Dolce&Gabbana in Venice at Palazzo Ducale.
DISCOVER THE DOLCE&GABBANA PROJECTIn 2022 Davide paused his record releases and took his new project around the world: Holo Piano Show, an interactive live performance combining music, holograms, lasers and visual effects.
During the same period he continued his work with Dolce&Gabbana, including a spectacular five-piano performance in Syracuse for the High Jewellery show.
In 2023 he served as artistic and musical director for another Dolce&Gabbana project, arranging and performing a new five-piano production.
On 29 June 2023 Davide achieved a Guinness World Record with a piano performance at extreme altitude.
Davide’s performances combine music, visual language and stage presence to create distinctive experiences for audiences, brands and exclusive events.
