Davide Locatelli, 22 August 1992.
Italian pianist and composer.

Son of art, he began studying piano from an early age: at the age of 4 he received his first lesson from his father “Tati”, former Dalton drummer and music teacher.
At 13 and 14 years old he won the national C.E.M. competition for 2 years in a row.
In 2012 he graduated in piano from the L. Campiani conservatory in Mantua.
On 8 May 2011, ”Tunnel” was released, the pianist’s first album of unreleased songs. 5000 copies of the album were included in the magazine ”Suonare news”.
On March 20, 2014, ”Fly Away” was released, the second album of unreleased songs. 3000 copies of the album were attached to the newspaper ”Eco di Bergamo”, copies sold out in 12 days.
In 2013 and 2014 he toured the United States for two years in a row, visiting prestigious venues such as the Blue Note in New York and Dont Tell Mammas.
October 2014: he is among the 60 finalists of SanRemo youth.
October 2015: he successfully participates in the third edition of Tu si que Vales on Canale 5. His performance will be the most clicked on the web.
January 2016: ”La vie en…rock” is released, the pianist’s third album, the first album of covers that have marked the history of rock music. The album remained in the iTunes charts for 3 weeks in the top 20 reaching 11th position.
June 2016: Alvaro Soler decrees his cover of Sofia as the best and upon commission of the judge the video is broadcast in the “judges’ chat” on Sky Uno and Canale 8.
June 2017 he was a guest in a duo with Gabry Ponte at the Wind Music Awards on Rai1 live from the Verona Arena.
April 2018 signs his first contract with Sony Music.
In May 2018, “Pirates of the Caribbean” was released, his first single produced by Sony Music which quickly became viral on the web, quickly reaching one million views on Youtube.
It was 10 years ago, with Ludovico Einaudi, that a piece for piano alone had not achieved this result in Italy.
October 2018 he releases ”Numb”, the second single in honor of his idol Chester Bennington.
”Sugar Land” is released in May 2019. Immediately enter the most important global Spotify playlists in the sector by exceeding one million streams on the platform.
In January 2020 he is a regular judge on All Together Now on Canale 5.
His second original song, ”Experience”, written together with M. Roberto Rossi, was released in March 2020.

In the same year he began his permanent collaboration with the Dolce & Gabbana brand where he played music for the Haute Couture fashion shows for D&G in Florence. In December he was the protagonist of 2 Men’s and Women’s High Fashion commercials for the brand.

His fourth album ”This is Dave” was released in June 2021 and placed third in the general Amazon ranking. The album contains Davide’s life, starting from the covers he played in the dormitory up to his original songs.

In 2021 he rewrote and performed the famous A.C.Milan anthem together with Mazay which became the soundtrack for the club’s 122 years. The anthem was presented at San Siro on the occasion of the Milan – Napoli match.

Also in 2021, music for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows in Venice, becoming the first musician to play at the Palazzo Ducale.

His music is also the protagonist of the Alta Sartoria Uomo fashion show which went viral on the web due to the strong hailstorm that characterized the day.

In 2022 he interrupts his record releases by traveling the world between Milan, Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo etc with his new show: Holo Piano Show, an interactive show between music and special effects created with holograms and lasers.

Also in 2022 he is the protagonist of a spectacular 5-piano performance in Syracuse on the occasion of the Dolce & Gabbana High Jewelery fashion show.

In May 2023 he is artistic-musical director for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show where he arranges and performs an incredible 5-piano performance.
 
In June, Love 4, his new single written with Maestro Roberto Rossi, who sadly passed away a few weeks earlier, was released. Davide will play the piece during his record producer’s funeral to pay homage to him for the friendship that accompanied them.
 
On June 29, he made history by breaking a Guinness World Record by holding the piano concert on the highest peak in the world.
